This is to let everybody know that we will have one final meeting on Sunday, Ju= ly 10 at 4:30 P.M. in Room 252, second floor, at First Baptist Arlington. I would like to have received everyone’s forms and $150.00 on or before this meeting. I will also have one more form fo= r you to fill out at that time.
= I have reserved 10 rooms at each hotel, so I would like to know if you are t= aking a room by yourself or if you want a roommate. If everyone can be at this meetin= g you can pair up with someone. I = need to make sure I have reserved enough rooms especially in Torreon. If it’s impossible for you = to be at this meeting you need to contact me before this meeting regarding your = room situation or you could end up in a room by yourself.
= I will fax the room list to the hotel in Torreon so that our check-in will be smoother and faster. I will = have an itinerary for the whole trip to give you on July 10. I will also have the exact costs = per room for the one night at La Quinta and the 6 nights in Torreon. I will mention here that I’= ve negotiated a free breakfast buffet every morning for every person at the V= illa Jardin Hotel (Torreon). So y= our breakfast is included in your hotel cost.
= I will also have an itinerary of the VBS daily schedule. If you have a Passport, just assu= re me it has not expired. If you a= re one of the few without a Passport, bring your documents to the meeting so I can review them.
= At the meeting I plan to take a picture of each of you for my file. Also, at this time I need to tell= you that due to a lack of space for luggage and supplies, you will be limited = to one suitcase and one carry-on or backpack. Your Passport and all your documents must be kept in your carry-on = or backpack. Your backpack can = have one change of clothes. We wi= ll not unload the vehicles, until we reach Torreon, except for your backpack when= we stop at the border for the night and when we stop to go through customs in Mexico.
= For the men working in construction, the ladies from the mission will provide mid-morning egg and potato burritos for you each day at the construction site. We will have cold wate= r and sodas also.
= At the July 10 meeting, I will give you hotel contact phone numbers and depar= ture information in addition to other useful information so you can fully enjoy= this trip.
