The MegaVoices are durable, but direct exposure to water or sand can't be good for them.  A logical choice for protection are clamshells:

• water resistent
• protect from dust and sand
• clear - permits recharging
• provide instructions to be kept with MegaVoice
• can hang up on wall or post
• compact space for transporting to the field
• cost-efficient

We have found a great source for clamshells that are perfectly sized:

The instructions can be printed on a 3" x 3.5" card or labels to be inserted in the area at the top.
